Kleine, steile Weinterrassen werden oft von Weinbauern im Familienverband geformt und gepflegt. Inzwischen hat sich der Merlot zur wichtigsten Rebsorte im Tessin entwickelt. Trauben werden oft handgelesen und reifen in kleinen Eichenf\u00e4ssern zum Barrique-Ausbau. In die Tessiner Weine kann man am besten eintauchen beim Besuch eines Weinkellers vor Ort. Eine der wichtigsten Weinkellereien im Tessin ist &#8220;Vini e Distillati Angelo Delea&#8221;, vom Firmengr\u00fcnder Angelo Delea seit 1983 sukzessive ausgebaut pr\u00e4sentiert sich das Unternehmen heute mit einem eindrucksvollen Weinkeller zur Lagerung der Weinf\u00e4sser, einem kleinen Weinmuseum und Bereich f\u00fcr Weinproben.
